The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches was founded in 1957 by a group of Florida Sheriffs and has since grown to a statewide network of residential campuses and summer camps offering nationally recognized services to at-risk youth. Their vision is to teach young men and women responsibility, integrity and the importance of a strong work ethic so they can face the future with a sense of direction, ability and hope. The organization is credited with helping more than 177,000 Florida children and families since 1957.

A special thanks to Lamar “Marzy” Chisholm and the Osceola Anglers High School Fishing Club for their help on the Fishing Tournament. The Osceola Anglers is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to create a friendly environment where high school students can learn and share their experiences in and outside of the sport of fishing. The Club’s goal is to instill values and character through outdoor life experiences, promote environmental awareness, outdoor ethics, personal responsibility and goal attainment, and have fun in the process.
